Is there any such thing as FREE PR, or is it a can of worms best left unopened? Hayley Solich shares some of her experiences with Media and points out some of the pitfalls that people need to be careful of when doing their own PR.
Firstly, if you want to catch fish you have to be prepared to spend time and money. Great fish don’t always get on the line the first time you put your bait in the water. It requires repetition – it’s a numbers game. You put your information in front of enough people enough times and eventually you will get the result you want. But it also requires strategy. After all, if you use the right bait, you’ll get the right catch, but only if you are fishing in the right fishpond for the fish you’re hoping to hook.
